The second meeting of ReBond project will take place in Paris, France

from Monday March 31 to Thursday April 2.

It will be organized as follows:

• March 31 – Industrial Workshop in Hutchinson (Chalette sur Loing – 110km from Paris)
• April 1 –  Training Advanced Module (4 periods)
  • Synthesis (R. Nicolay)
    • Basics of polymerization:

Introduction of the 2 main modes of polymer chain growth during polymerization: step growth and chain growth. (The lecture on free and controlled radical polymerization given in Crete in September 2024 will be recalled.)

This lecture will illustrate how the tools and concepts presented in the first lecture can be used to design and synthesize polymers with tunable composition, topology and functionality.

• • Mechanics (C. Creton)
    • Stickiness:

From barely crossliknked polymer networks to rheology and pressure-sensitive-adhesive properties

• • • Fracture of soft materials from melts to dynamically crosslinked

Evening – Molecular cooking (P. Reutenaer) – to be confirmed

• April 2 – Project meeting

Evening – buffet & wine tasting (C. Creton & R. Nicolay)

• April 3 – Project meeting (ending around 12am)
